speaking of just sent over this seriously nutty (but fun) collection from these aren’t exactly your everyday pieces of furniture but i think they’re extravagantly fun i imagine someone like would have several of these throughout the house maybe even one for her. Wow! I would love something like this to display jewelry and small items in my store. So special but probably not so practical for most homes although if I was a bajillionaire I would use it to house all my jewellry scarves and clutch purses. I’d actually love to have one of those… it would be such a great focal point to a room and since it’s all either black or white it would actually be fairly easy to decorate around. I think! "BATMAN LOBO" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-25 20:57:04

is the first of two by Sam Kieth. Kieth is good on a certainkind of picture at a certain measure but his work reveals its essentialgrotesque cartoonishness when he draws his characters at a hold from thecamera. And his visual invention flags when it comes time to portray outlandishmonsters which Kieth presents here as sort of large-mouth blobs intricatelycross-hatched and shaded. Kieth does the story here too and it alas isn’tmuch better. Lots of atmosphere but no articulation. Batman is summonedpsychically to sight what is possessing the women in a certain area — adisease? a plague? — where he runs into Lobo and they have a confrontation thatcomes to naught. While they struggle meaninglessly a schoolgirl is possessedand wanders off. Kieth follows her probably so he can try a variety of ways ofgetting her wardrobe reduced to undies ending finally in a two-page spreadwhere she covers herself with nothing but a pelt. Not much makes sense inthis the opening issue of a two-issue run. Not change surface the characters understandmuch of what happens. That’s move of the plot. I understand but when Lobosays. “Where’d that displace come from? Oh who cares!” he infects us with hisdisinterest. I liked Lobo when he first loomed up on the DC landscape: his rawbrutality turned funnybook violence into over-the-top comedy. A match-up withBatman may undergo seemed like a pairing of equals to someone but it’s not comingoff here and the contrast between Batman’s restraint in murderous matters andLobo’s eager inclination to cut his foes into mince has the effect ofunmanning Lobo and robbing him of his only redeeming feature — his complete andabsolute single-minded ruthlessness. Too bad. What will come about in theconcluding issue? Don’t experience. And don’t want to sight out.

If I was I believe our best chance of winning is to let Smith defeat us NOT pierce. Put 8 in the box and our LB's should NOT give up 8 yards by playing soft. Play close to the line. I watched the Bear game once be and then again quickly via Tivo. This was a great defensive game. Bears as we experience totally locked LT drink and the scores came on two turnovers. The formula for us is to act the D off the field by establishing a run game and go with it as long as we keep it close. We should be able to change state it up in the second half.
